Our oil & gas operating client, a premier E&P company, are currently seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to work with them on a 6 month contract role in the UK outside IR35. The role and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:-

Applicants must have previous experience as an Environmental Advisor for an offshore operator.
Prepare correspondence, documentation and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with the company operations, well intervention and project teams throughout the operational process of offshore assets.
Prepare, submit and obtain relevant environmental permits and consents (MAT applications (e.g. DRA, PRA, PLA, WIA) and associated SAT applications, OPPC, GHG)
Undertake offshore visits to support regulatory inspections and audits.
Extensive interfacing with regulators to maintain regulatory compliance.

Applications are invited from candidates holding a relevant degree or post graduate diploma in environmental discipline.
The successful incumbent will have substantial experience working in UKCS permitting requirements, including experience preparing and making regulatory submittals.
Candidates must have experience working directly with Regulators to answer questions and facilitate inspections.
Candidates will be familiar with Environmental and Energy Management Systems (ISO140001 and ISO50001)
