Our prestigious Client, who provide energy and water to communities around the world are currently seeking an experienced Senior Abandonment Engineer for a long-term Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UK. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-

Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working in the Oil & Gas Energy sector directly at Operator level.
Designs well activities and creates well programmes in compliance with the management system by analysing offset data, generating & evaluating design options, assessing risk, preparing detailed design and programme documents.
Provide support to the Superintendent and rig teams with technical and planning work.
Plan and execute well operations safely, efficiently and cost effectively in accordance with legislation and company standards.
Ensures well design and operations comply with legislation and good industry practice.
Conduct regular offshore rig visits to oversee vendor work activities and to enhance company/vendor communications and relationships.

Applications are invited from degree qualified candidates in a relevant technical/engineering discipline.
The successful incumbent will have extensive experience working as a Senior Well Engineer supporting MODU subsea drilling, completion, intervention and abandonment operations.
Candidates must have good working knowledge of subsea and well abandonment operations and of the HSE regime governing well abandonment operations.
All applicants must have a valid IWCF level 4 certificate.
Incumbents will have proven technical expertise in relation to drilling/completions engineering and operations, well services and well abandonment.
This is an onshore role however offshore visits will be required to meet the needs of the business therefore all industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL and MIST) are required for this role.
